Greetings from Miami!

In addition to what you already know that PNASC WON 4 OUT OF 6 EXCELLENCE AWARDS, we are here in Miami to receive

those AWARDS tonight: Emma (Clinical Practice); Mindy (Administration); Deovina (Resesrch); Sarla (Advanced Practice), Here's

more GOOD NEWS about the 31st PNAA National Convention here in Miami.

PNASC delegates are: Pacita Lovely, Aida Ramos, Marilou Puga and Allan , four officers (Mindy, Deovina, Linda, Sarla) and

four tireless Advisors ( Emma, Brenda, JV, Mila).

ADDITIONALLY! During the gen Assembly Meeting today, just imafine PNASC representatives running back and forth to the stage,

screaming on top of our lungs, as if nothing else mattered as we accepted the awards on behalf of PNASC!

OUR NEWSLETTER WON THE PRIDE AWARD (AGAIN!!!) and MEL CARRILLO won the BEST EDITOR! Excellence is contagious, indeed!
DEOVINA's poster WON FIRST PRIZE in the poster contest.
WE WON the MOST CHAPTER members in the Medium Size category
Nine of us participated in the 5K walk/run (one way or the other) - Emma, JV (yes, she walked t the finish line), Mila (helped in the water station and finish line), Pacita Lovely, Marilou Puga and Allan (co-worker), Aida Ramos, Linda Absher, Mindy and Sarla
Emma received multiple recogniton certificates for her work with different PNAA Committtees in addition to being PNASC President 2009 - 2010.
WESTERN Region WON the BEST TEAM presentation "WE ARE THE WORLD, OF NURSES" during theNetworking Night. All of us from the Western Region dressed up in costumes representing different countries (I represented US Disneyland, of course); Emma and Pacita (Mexico); Brenda (China); JV (Greece); Mila and Mindy (RP)

Here's looking forward to sharing all these with you, our TEAM, as we work together, living our mantra, "Leading by foresight

through hindsight" in a fun and rewarding way
